tow ~ toe
[the same pronunciation that rhymes with ‘go’]
“Tow”, as a verb, is ‘to pull a vehicle behind another vehicle using a strong rope, iron chain or bar, usually a damaged, broken down car, or a boat or ship, or an aircraft when its engines are not running’; as a noun, it is ‘the act of pulling a vehicle behind another’,
e.g.
The damaged car was towed to the nearest garage.
The traffic police tow away vehicles that are parked in “NO PARKING” zone.
When our car broke down, we asked our neighbours to give us a tow to the garage.
She usually attends every party with her four greedy children in tow. [i.e. her four children follow her to every party, may be because they can eat delicious food]

“Toe”, as a noun, is ‘the finger-like movable part on one’s foot; the front part of a shoe or sock’; as a verb, it is ‘to do what other people do whether one likes it or not, in order to be in a good position or to get some favours’,
e.g.
He has only nine fingers on his hands but ten toes on his feet.
She hurt her big toe when she went into the garden without wearing shoes.
The young party members toe the seniors’ line or they cannot stay in the party.
