Testimony” (noun & with ‘testimonies’ as its plural) is ‘an official statement, given in writing or said verbally, that something or someone is true, usually in a court of law before a judge; something that shows that somebody or something else is true (true or false; right or wrong; good or bad, etc.)’,

e.g.

After intensive questioning, the company manager finally confessed in his testimony that the company neglected the safety of workers.

Winning the general election with a terrific majority is the testimony to our party’s popularity!
