teem ~ team
[the same pronunciation, as in ‘team’ that rhymes with “beam”]
“Teem” (verb) is ‘(usually with “down”) to rain heavily; (usually with “with” and of a place) to be full of people or animals, usually cattle, all moving about’,
e.g.
In monsoon, the rains teem down heavily day and night.
It is suspected that almost every city in the world is teeming with one or the other kind of terrorists.
The pond was dirty and was teeming with mosquito larvae.

“Team”, as a noun, is ‘a group of players who play together games and sports that need more than one player against another group; a group of people, usually experts or well-trained or qualified people, who are chosen to work together on a project; two or more animals, usually oxen, horses, dogs that are used to pull vehicles’;
e.g.
Our athletic team won the gold medal in the Beijing Summer Olympics ’08.
A team of scientists is sent to find out about the mysterious disease that is killing hundreds of tribal people in the hills.
Most farmers use a team of two oxen to plough their fields.
The two music bands teamed up and gave a thunderous concert last night.
