[four of these words have the same pronunciation, as in ‘sole’ which rhymes with “pole”]
“Sole” (adjective) means ‘the only person that has a special or different quality or character in a group of people or place; (of things) not shared with others’,
e.g.
He is the sole survivor of the fire accident.
She has the sole rights to the family property. [i.e. she is the only one who can have the property legally]

“Sole”, as a noun, is ‘the whole bottom surface of one’s foot which touches the ground when one stands or walks; the flat tough bottom part of one’s shoes, not including the raised back part’; as a verb, it is ‘to fix a new bottom flat part on a shoe’,
e.g.
The soles of the baby’s feet are not tough enough to walk on gravel. Don’t let him go out.
The soles of his shoes had holes in them.

“Sole” (noun) is ‘a kind of flat fish that is often used for food’,
e.g.
They had sole for their lunch, so let’s give them crabs and shrimps for dinner.

“Soul” (noun) is ‘a person’s character, feelings, thoughts and sentiments that are not physical, which some people believe will continue to exist (live in this world) even after the physical person dies; somebody, some person’,
e.g.
He is very sensitive; he has a soul of glass.
Not a soul was out in the streets during the storm last night. [i.e. not a single person was out because of the storm]
She warned her fickle-minded boyfriend to play with her money whatever way he liked but not with her soul. [i.e. she told him to take all her money, she wouldn’t mind, but not to cheat on her and go with another girl]
