a kind of bird – water bird – related to terns – medium-sized with black and white feather and red beak (bill) and legs; long beak with the lower part longer than the upper part, found in Americas, Africa, and in India
Special Features:
This bird flies close to the surface of the water with its beak skimming the water for fish, and when the fish touch the beak, in a flick of a moment, it closes the beak shut, like a vice!
