sextant ~ sexton

“Sextant” (noun) is ‘a tool/device used for measuring angles between stars in the sky in order to find out the position of a ship, and also an aeroplane, at sea where there are no landmarks to guide them or to tell the ships’ captains where exactly they are’,
e.g.
Until recently captains of ships depended on sextants and star charts to know their ships’ positions at open sea.

“Sexton” (noun) is ‘a care taker of a church building and the ground around the church, whose other tasks include ringing church bells’,
e.g.
During the prayers, a church sexton came up to the noisy boys to keep them quiet.
