[slightly different pronunciation: the same first sound, rhyming with ‘soo']

Sewage” (noun) is ‘the human waste from the body, such as urine, faecal matter (shit) and the used water from the bathrooms, that is sent out from houses and other buildings by pipes or small tunnels under the ground (or open canals in poor localities) called sewers; the waste matter, usually chemicals that are used in manufacturing things in factories and chemical plants, that is sent out from factories’,

{Note: A ‘sewer’ is a pipe or small canal/conduit that carries sewage, usually built under the ground.}

Our government is planning to set up a sewage treatment plant in every town.

It’s a pity that even in metropolitan cities people experience the horrible stench of sewage.
