sea ~ see

e.g.
Cats can see in the dark.
There’s no use showing him any pictures. He can’t see; he’s blind.
Did you see the news on TV last night? {“‘watch’ the news” is also possible in this sentence}
Several bishops found it difficult to manage the see of London.
{‘The Holy See’ is another name for Vatican City, the city country where the Pope resides in Rome, Italy.}
