prevision ~ provision

“Prevision” (noun & ‘pre–’ is a prefix meaning ‘before’; prefix = a letter or letters or a word placed before another word) is ‘the ability of knowing things before they actually happen; foresight’,
e.g.
The farmer had a prevision of the danger of drought and had a bore-well dug in his field.

“Provision” (noun) is ‘the act of providing or preparing something, usually for future need; an amount of something that is issued or provided; a condition in an agreement or legal document; a particular clause (point) in a law rule’,
e.g.
He has never thought of the future and has made no provision for his old age.
There is no provision of hot water for the badly behaved students in the hostel.
According to the provision of this agreement, the money lender has no claim over the borrower’s house.
{The word “provisions” (always in plural form) means ‘the things we need in making food, such as cereals, spices, oil, sugar, salt, etc. that we buy at a ‘provisions store’; the food supplies. However, this word is becoming obsolete, i.e. out-of-date.}
