poach ~ pouch

“Poach” (verb) is ‘1. to cook eggs or fish in boiling water or other liquid 2. (people, called ‘poachers’ and in this context, the word ‘poaching’ is more commonly used) to catch or kill wild animals in the wild without permission or licence 3. to take or use something unfairly without proper permission or licence to do so’,
e.g.
Some people, called poachers, poach elephants for their tusks.
The forest guards arrested some poachers who were poaching tigers.

“Pouch” (noun) is ‘1. a leather bag, used in olden days, for storing gunpowder, or tobacco, and carried in pockets or tied round one’s waist 2. (of some kinds of animals called marsupials, like kangaroo, possum, etc) a bag-like formation of the abdomen skin or skin fold in which babies or food is carried’,
e.g.
The old man took out some tobacco from his pouch and started chewing it.
Kangaroos carry their babies in their pouches.
