invaluable ~ valueless:
{Note: ‘Invaluable’ is not the opposite (antonym) of “valuable”. In fact, it is quite the other way round: something or someone ‘invaluable’ is very, very valuable. We cannot use it in the same way as we do with ‘decent X indecent’ which is accepted.}
___________
“Invaluable” means ‘(of qualities) very useful; very valuable for the worth or usefulness to be estimated or measure’,
e.g.
We are grateful to you for your invaluable help.
The scientists were delighted to have such an invaluable piece of information.
____________________
“Valueless” is, of course, the opposite (antonym) of ‘value’, and it means ‘(of things) having little or no value in terms of money, importance, or usefulness’,
e.g.
The scientists were greatly disappointed to have such a valueless piece of information after so much effort.
