graceful runner
a graceful runner

Impalas are good runners, and their only way of escaping from the predators is to run away, all the of them in different directions; and in doing so they jump over bushes or any other obstacles – can jump 10 feet high and 36 feet long very easily, and even when they are not being chased, they jump, just for the sake of jumping!!

They have been hunted for their meat, hide (=dried skin to be made into leather) and horns.

Several other animals such as lions, cheetahs, etc. depend on them for their survival!
