Hobbies are small falcons.  They can fly very fast – 100 Km/h!

Hobbies have been used in falconry for centuries.  They have been mentioned in stories, and there are some motion pictures (films) with ‘hobbies’ in important roles.

hobby-horse  =  a wooden toy in the shape of a horse or a wooden pole with a horse’s head on the upper end {In this context, the word ‘hobby’ does not represent a ‘pastime activity’ or the ‘bird’; it may probably be the pet name form of ‘Robin’!
