Special Features:
The ‘Sinai Rosefinch’ is the national bird of Jordan, an Arab country in the Southwest Asia.

The ‘eastern goldfinch or American goldfinch’ is the state bird of Iowa, New Jersey; the ‘willow goldfinch or American goldfinch’ is the state bird of Washington; and the ‘purple finch’ is the state bird of New Hampshire, USA.

The ‘finch’ is the common name for the largest family of song birds with strong beak (bill) for crack opening different kinds of seeds they feed on, found all over the world.

In some species (kinds) the males are with very brightly coloured feathers and the females are mostly drab – in plain grey or light brown feathers.
