- (an etcher’s hands etching a design on glass)
(to etch = to draw something, such as a picture, sign, etc., by cutting the lines on a sheet of glass or other metal with a needle and then using acid which eats away the lines so that one can print from the lines or see the outlines)
- a stone etcher at work
