a person who enchants, i.e. a person who attracts, delights or fascinates others with his/her good looks, sweet talk, or using magic powers, and then makes them do as he/she pleases with them;

a lady-killer; a charmer;

a magician; a sorcerer,

In Hindu mythology, Lord Krishna is the greatest of all the enchanters, enchanting several hundreds of milkmaids who go into a sort of trance in his presence!

There are several news items where we hear about enchanters prying on innocent people, enchanting them with their sweet talk and decent behaviour and later fleecing them of their money and chastity!

When a man who makes people listen to him with his charm or charisma, we say he is charismatic, for example Martin Luther King Jr, Mahatma Gandhi, but when a man who uses his charm or charisma for his personal benefit and cheats people, we say he is an enchanter.

Most film artists and pop singers are enchanters who mesmerise millions of people with their good looks and charming talents.
