Elizabethan:

(plural: ‘Elizabethans‘)

a person who lived in the Elizabethan era/age – the time frame of Queen Elizabeth I of England, between A.D. 1558 and 1603,

Queen Elizabeth the First

e.g.

William Shakespeare, the greatest English poet and playwright, was an Elizabethan, i.e. he lived in the age of Queen Elizabeth I, which was known to be the golden age in the history of English/England.

Some elderly people in Britain talk very highly of the Elizabethan age and the old Elizabethans and like very much to be called the modern Elizabethans.

It is strange to note that in modern Britain, there are people who follow the customs and traditions that the Elizabethans followed some centuries ago.
