Mr Desmond, a teacher all his life serving several school all over the state and reputed educationist, is now doing some intensive research work on how to improve the basic standards of the pupils from all backgrounds.
Most educaitonists feel that there is no failure of education system as most people these days worried about, but the major issues to be addressed is the changes in the society and the changes in the education policies made basing on the political situation are to be well-groomed so that all sections of the society are satisfied.
The thing that upsets most educationists is that the group making policies, the group controlling finance and the group that sets the standards to be achieved never consult the most important group ‘the teachers’ or ‘educationists’ while making major or minor decisions in the field of education!
