‘ecology’ = the scientific study of the pattern of relations of plants, animals and people to each other and to their surroundings, and “human ecology” is the study of people and their inter-relationship

Kirk loves nature and animals, and so, after completing his degree in biological sciences, he’s become an ecologist and taken up a job in Gerald Wildlife Trust in Channel Islands.
As pollution is growing fast, more and more trees are felled and more and more animals are killed every day, the job of ecologists is becoming more and more difficult.
