Dual”, an adjective, means ‘having a double character or nature; consisting of two parts; double’,

e.g.

My son has dual nationality, of Britain and India.  [i.e. he is the citizen of Britain and the citizen of India]

Duel” means ‘a fight arranged between two men, mostly for girls, in olden days, and the participants in a ‘duel’ are called “duellers“’,

e.g.

Young men fought duels to win the hearts of beautiful girls in olden days.
