doomsday – Domesday (book):
(OR The Doomsday Book)

“Doomsday” is ‘the last day of the existence of the present world (in some religions, especially the Christian religion) when God gives His judgement; for a very long time’,
e.g.
The preacher told the congregation to be ready for The Doomsday! [i.e. the last day of the existence of the present world]
He could wait till doomsday, but his girlfriend would not show up. [i.e. wait for a very, very long time]

“The Domesday Book” or “The Doomsday Book” is ‘the record of ownership of land in England, made on the orders of Williams I in 1086’,
- a copy of the Domesday Book
e.g.
The Domesday Book has been a very valuable source in learning the history of England.
