deportee:

(plural: ‘deportees‘)

‘to deport’ = to send away a person or a criminal who entered a foreign country without proper permission or in an illegal way, from that country or place by force

a person who has been or who has to be sent away, from one’s home or country or from the place or country he/she been in;

an exile; an expellee,

deportees being made to board a plane back to their own country

e.g.

A deportee, especially a political leader, may have to face more serious charges in his/her own country once he/she reenters his/her native land.

Several deportees have been waiting for their flight back to their own country; they have been deported because they have entered our country with forged documents!

The USA government had 392,862 deportees in the year 2010, which the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency said was 3,000 more deportees than the previous year’s number!

Though some deportees are criminals and are deported on the grounds of breaking the law of the land, they do have some rights and the place or country from where they are deported must follow some standard procedure before actually deporting them.
