In the holy books of every culture in the world there is a good demon and a bad demon — the good demon helping gods and people and the bad demon acting against gods and destroying the people.
According to Hindu mythology, the soul of a person who dies unnatural death, like in an accident, a fight or as a result of some black magic or witch craft, does not go to heaven or hell but becomes a demon lingering about on the earth until the actual term of life is ended, and basing on this theory some people believe that their enemies or relatives who have died recently will come for them to take revenge!
