‘deism’ = the belief that God is present (exists) based only on the nature and the things and laws found in the nature (world) which He created; another belief is that God created the university and then left or forgot about it

With so many developments in science, philosophy and cosmology and with so many contradicting conclusions, a deist may find it extremely difficult to be a deist much longer.

It is confusing to learn that deists believe in a supreme god but feel that there is no need for praise and prayer as that god has abandoned us.

There are several scientists, politicians, philosophers who were theists at one time and later became atheists and then labelled themselves as deists!
