When some miscreants spill the blood of a cow on the wall of a Hindu temple, it is called defiling or desecrating the temple, and the people who have done that barbaric act are called defilers.
Defilers in sex related cases are handled very harshly by the public and the judges of the respective courts.
Some social activists argue that defilers of all sorts, especially the sex defilers, are mentally ill patients and are to be given medical help rather than severe punishment!
It is hard to believe that, during Nazi regime in Germany, a male Jew who had married or had sexual relationship with German (Aryan) women or a German (Aryan) woman who had sexual relation ship with men other than Aryans, mostly with Jews, was humiliated in public with a board hung around his/her neck that said: ‘I am a race defiler!’
