Some human rights and social activists come to the aid of rouges and criminals by arguing that nobody is a born deceiver and that a person becomes a deceiver due to circumstances.

Most religious and spiritual leaders who are deceivers themselves repeatedly warn their gullible followers to be aware of deceivers who misguide them and lead them to hell.
