dandy:

(plural: dandies)

Apart from several other different meaning/definitions…

(usually with a negative connotation) a man who spends too much time and money on his clothes and personal appearance;

a fop,

dandies at a show

e.g.

Edward, who wears fine, expensive clothes and looks clean and attractive, doesn’t like to be called a dandy.

Though women do not seem to show much interest in men’s clothing, they definitely like to be with dandies!

More and more men are paying more time and money to look smarter and more attractive even at the cost of being labelled as dandies.
