dairy farmer:

(plural: ‘dairy farmers‘)

a dairy = a place where cows are kept, and milk and milk products are made

a person who owns or manages a dairy;

a milkman,

a dairy farmer at work

e.g.

Andrew, one my country cousins, is a dairy farmer who has a large dairy farm in the country.

Dairy farmers in the past used manual labour to do the chores on the dairy farm, i.e. cleaning the barns or sheds, milking the cows, etc. by hand, but the modern day dairy farmers, however, use technology to handle small to large activities on dairy farms.

Most governments encourage dairy trade and dairy farmers by giving subsidies and fixing the price of dairy products so that the dairy products are always available on the market at cheaper price.
