conspirator:

(also ‘conspirer’; plural: ‘conspirators‘; pronunciation: the letter ‘c’ is said with a ‘k’ sound as in “king”)

‘conspiracy’ = a secret plan to do something dangerously unlawful and harmful to others; and ‘to conspire’, a verb, = to plan secretly to do something illegal or harmful to others

a person who takes part in a conspiracy;

a person who plans to do some illegal or criminal activity, usually along with some other people,

a group of conspirators planning a conspiracy

e.g.

An alleged co-conspirator in the bombing of the World Trade Centre, USA has been on trial since he was arrested some days after the bombing.

There is a rumour making round in the capital city that some conspirators have plotted to kill the human rights activist who is protesting against the drug mafia, and the police are quickly setting traps to catch those conspirators before they put their plan into action.

All the conspirators that conspired to kill the king were arrested and thrown into prison.
