co-pilot:

(also ‘copilot’; plural: ‘co-pilots‘; pronunciation: the letter ‘c’ is with a ‘k’ sound)

a pilot who shares the responsibilities of flying an aeroplane with another senior pilot, commonly called ‘captain’;

a female pilot (L) and her female co-pilot (R)

e.g.

Victor had had intensive hands-on training and theory lessons in flying aircraft before he got a licence to fly an aircraft as a copilot, and after making enough flying hours as a copilot, he hopes to fly a plane all by himself.

In case of emergencies, such as the chief pilot or captain falling sick or hurt, the co-pilot can act independently and fly the plane as he/she feels safe for the plane, passengers and people on the ground.

A poker copilot is not a person that flies an aeroplane but a computer software program for poker players on the Net. (‘Poker’, in this context, is a card game.)
