a fat, ugly or unattractive person,

a clod?

e.g.

Nelson is such a clod that when I told him that Iraq won the war against America, he believed it.

Look at that clod in those gaudy clothes … red shirt, brown trousers, green tie and blue socks!

When you stand aside and watch all our teachers gossiping, you certainly get an impression that they are a bunch of clods.

The word ‘clod’ is more commonly used for a small mass or lump of soil or any other solid, e.g. a clod of earth, a clod of beef, etc., “Children kept bringing clods of clay and grandma kept making small shapes out of each clod.”
