(always with a capital ‘c’; plural: ‘Christians‘; pronunciation: the letters ‘ch’ are said with a ‘k’ sound as in “king”, and the letters ‘tian’ are said with a “chen” sound — ‘Kris…chen’)

a person who believes in the teachings of Jesus Christ  (Christian religion/Christianity), began in the 1st century AD in Jerusalem in Middle East Asia,

a Christian with a Cross and the Bible

e.g.

A Christian is a person who loves peace and hates violence, and treats his fellow men as his brothers.

Christians worship Jesus Christin in Churches; Jews worship God of Abraham in synagogues, Muslims worship Allah in Masques, Hindus worship different gods and godeesses in temples; Buddhists do not worship any god in particular but follow the teaching of Buddha in Buddhist temple, Jains do not worship any god in particular but worship the ideals of perfection the ‘tirthankaras’ attained in Jain temples; and the Sikhs worship Gurus and Gurugandha/Guru Granth, the teachings of Gurus,in temples or Gurudwar.

Christians say they pray any time and any where they are, but go to churches on every Sunday and religious days to attend communal prayers or services.
