Some social workers argue that a call girl is far better than a hooker or a streetwalker, though they charge more.
It has been found out that most of the high profile call girls are college drop outs who dream of having a lavish life style.
Note: ‘Prostitute’, ‘whore’, ‘hooker’, ‘streetwalker’, ‘hoe’, ‘slut’ and ‘sex worker’ are the common words used to refer to a woman who offers herself, i.e. has sex, for money. However, the usage depends on the context and the place and the people who use the word. In general, the word ‘prostitute’ used to be common until recently, but the term ‘sex worker’ has taken over its place and is used in formal situations and contexts, mostly in legal and medical matters. ‘Hooker’, ‘hoe’ and ‘slut’ are mostly used cheaply in causal conversations (and also used as an insult to a woman though she is not a ‘sex worker’). A ‘call girl’ or ‘escort’, however, is a woman who has sex with anybody for money but does not show up in public places as a ‘hooker’, ‘streetwalker’, ‘hoe’ or ‘slut’ does; she is contacted over phone, either through an agency which runs sex business or a high profile pimp!
