‘booze’ is an informal name given to alcoholic drinks

a cool boozer

a person, usually a man, who drinks too much alcohol (brandy, whisky, etc.);

a drinker; a drunk;

an alcoholic; a drunkard, a soaker, etc.,

e.g.

He had been lucky to have given up drinking alcoholic drinks before he became a real boozer.

It is anybody’s guess where boozers get their money to buy booze, and they do buy booze every day.

We have a couple of small boozers on our island where boozers among the tourists buy booze at nights. (the first ‘boozers’ is pubs or bars where alcoholic drinks are served and drunk, and the second ‘boozers’ are the people who drink alcoholic drinks)

‘Boozer’ is also used for a bar or pub — a place where alcoholic drinks are sold.
‘Boozer’, always with a capital “B”, is often found in the names of people, e.g. Carlos Boozer, Mel Boozer, Young Boozer, Rachel Boozer, etc.
