biographer:

(plural: ‘biographers‘; pronunciation: the letters ‘bi’ rhyme with the word “buy”, and the letters ‘ph’ are said with an ‘f’ sound as in “father”)

‘biography’ = an account or story of a person’s life, usually a great person, written by another person

a writer of another person’s real life, usually of a great person’s life,

Nancy Goggeshall, biographer, Mexico
e.g.

A biographer must have a lot of patience when they write about a popular or busy person.

It has become a tradition for great politicians to appoint a biographer to write about their lives so that once they retire from active politics they can have their books published … and make money!

A talented biographer can make even a common man’s life more interesting than a celebrity’s.

Note: An ‘autobiographer’ is a person who writes about his/her own life. Some popular autobiographers are: Anne Robinson, Hugh Cornwell, and of course, Sir Sean Connery, the Hollywood movie James Bond fame, you see on the video.
