A batman is like a servant, driver/chauffeur, bodyguard and valet to the officer he was assigned to.
Though the post of ‘batman’ was abolished world-wide after the WW II, some countries, such as India and Pakistan, continued to provide army officers with batmen or batwomen until recently.
The Batman, a popular comic character, has been made into about seven real movies with actors and several cartoon films.
