baker:
(plural: ‘bakers‘)
a person who bakes (cooks in an oven) bread and cakes, and sells them in a shop called ‘bakery’,
e.g.
My mom is a great baker; everyone loves her delicious cakes.

I usually walk to the baker’s at the end of the street to buy some bread for my breakfast. (i.e. I go on foot to the shop of a baker or the bakery to buy some bread)
A ‘baker’s dozen’ is thirteen in number!
Note: The word ‘Baker’, always with a capital ‘B’, is found more commonly in the names of people, e.g. Anita Baker, Bock Baker, Hobey Baker, etc.
