An ‘armoury’ is a place where arms (military weapons) are kept.

an armourer fixing a weapon

a person who makes and repairs weapons of war;

a person in charge of weapons and other devices of war, usually in a military unit or police department,

 

an armourer checking his stock in an armoury

e.g.

Film producers that make war or police films hire armourers to design  suitable weapons and armoury settings for their films.

Australian Air Force has a special unit called the Chemical Warfare Armourers who handle chemical weapons imported into Australia.
